What a hectic start to the year.

We have just launched a new service to Ghana west Africa with JSA and the team are busily building the volume there which is great to see.

And finally it seems that the recession is truly over as we see our global volumes expanding.

Kestrel will expand its operations overseas and we will see our first office on the African continent In 2014. More to follow on that one.

And finally our US operation is looking to expand and we will be buying a bigger office.

That’s it for January. A quiet month I’m sure you’d agree.

I love feedback about our website and our business units so please do get in touch. athorne@kestrel.com.

Kestrel was delighted to be able to help when our valued principle FedNav contacted us to ask if we would be interested in sponsoring Sailability Vlaanderen.  Etienne De Vel from FedNav has been instrumental in organising this weekend bringing the fun of sailing to all abilities no matter what sort of physical or mental disadvantage they have to face on a daily basis.  Sailability Flanders does exactly what it says – it makes Sailing possible for everyone, and you can read much more about the weekend in Etienne’s own words below and see the photos from the fantastic time had by all. Much more information is also available on their website www.sailability.be, where you will also find the details on how to sponsor or donate to this worthwhile cause.
